Love, Juan and I just created our first digital story with Storybird. It is aimed at students ages 8-12 and includes story elements that students learn about throughout the year in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. We hope you enjoy Simple Gestures.
I give Simple Gestures a 10/10! I love the pictures that you guys found to use, and your creativity when writing the story. Perhaps a Simple Gestures 2???
I agree. Would love to see a Simple Gestures 2, and then a Simple Gestures 3. Or start another series. The three of you are quite the author team. Have fun with Storybird. There is a lot you can do with it. I just saw one done by a 1st grader that blew me away. Hard to believe that even 1st graders can be pushed that far to write when motivated. Here is the link to read the story.http://bit.ly/1kyxgVJ
I LOVE IT! I am impressed by your creativity. I'm not so sure I could share it with my kindergarten class, but I definitely loved reading it. Do you think you will use Storybird with your students?
My six graders loved it Michelle! They were wondering how did we come up with the characters names and where did we get the pictures from. I agree with Judy, you, Juan, and I need to get a series going. Let's take this show on the road. We can create a series something similar to Sweet Valley High or Archie. It was a pleasure working with you.
